Frequently Asked Questions
-  Is there a bathroom in the room?Yes, all of our rooms come with an ensuite bathroom. 
-  Are security lockers provided?Underbed lockers are provided in all rooms for safely storing your belongings. You can bring your own lock (recommended) or we offer one for €5. 
-  Can we store our luggage if we arrive early?Yes, we have a secure space to store your luggage. 
-  Is there a curfew?No, there's no curfew. 
-  What are the check-in & check-out times?Check-in is from 3pm to 9pm, but late check-in can be arranged with prior notice. Check-out is at 10:30am Mon-Sat and 11am Sundays, with the option for later check-out until 12pm for a fee of €10. 
-  Is breakfast included?Yes, we offer a complimentary breakfast including toast with jam/marmalade, cereal, tea, and coffee, on a self-service basis. 
-  Are cooking facilities available?Absolutely, we have a fully fitted kitchen where guests can prepare their own meals. The kitchen closes at 10pm and reopens at 7am daily. 
-  Is parking available at the hostel?Unfortunately, there's no onsite parking. However, there's free street parking from 6:30pm to 8:30am, or a car park, only 3 minutes from the hostel, charges €2 per 24 hours. This car park has a charging port for electric vehicles. Eircode: F26 C6H6. Car Park Directions: take an immediate left at Euro Giant, then left at the P sign, and the car park is on the right. 
-  Where is the hostel located?We're situated on Lower Pearse Street, Ballina, Eircode F26K159. Located just across from the Ballina Civic Offices. 
-  Do you provide free Wi-Fi?Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi access is available throughout the hostel. 
-  What payment methods do you accept?We accept debit/credit cards and cash. 
-  Are there female-only dorms?No, all our dorms are mixed. 
-  Is there an age limit?Guests must be 18 years old, and those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. 
-  Do you accept groups?Yes, we welcome groups. Please contact us at info@heydayhostel.com for more details. 
-  What ID is needed for check-in?We require a current photo ID such as a driving licence or passport. 
-  What is the maximum length of stay?The maximum consecutive stay is 7 days, subject to availability. 
-  Do you provide cots?No, we do not provide cots. However, our private rooms are large enough to accommodate a travel cot, if bringing your own. 
-  Do you allow dogs?As much as we love animals, pets are not allowed unless they are assistance dogs. 
-  Are linen & towels provided?Yes, all beds come with linen, and one towel is provided free of charge. Extra towels are available for €5 each. 
-  Do you have laundry facilities?Yes, we have a washer and dryer available for a fee of €5 for a wash and dry. You can also purchase washing tablets for €2 each.
